THE VAST MAJORITY (MORE THAN 80%) OF THE FUNDS INVESTED BY GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS ARE INVESTED WITH MICRO-FINANCE INSTITUTIONS. IN CONSIDERING A POTENTIAL LOAN OR INVESTMENT IN A SOCIAL ENTERPRISE, GP CONFIRMS THAT THE ENTERPRISE PROVIDES PRODUCTS OR SERVICES TO PEOPLE LIVING IN POVERTY AND SERVES GP'S CHARITABLE MISSION OF EXPANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR PEOPLE LIVING IN POVERTY IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD, THEREBY ASSISTING WITH THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND DISTRESSED OR OF THE UNDERPRIVILEGED.
