Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6	The members consist of all of the membership that is assigned to the chapters chartered by the American Institute of Architects within the State of Washington.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a	The business of the Council is managed by the Board of Directors, which is composed of representatives from each chapter. Each chapter elects or appoints its representatives and advises the council of such elections or appointments at the Council annual business meetings each year. Representation of any section with the State is through the chapter and governed by the chapter's bylaws. There shall be eight board members based as follows: 1. AIA Seattle Chapter: (including NWW Section):Four board members 2. AIA Spokane Chapter: One board member 3. AIA Central Chapter: One board member 4. AIA Southwest Chapter (including Vancouver section): Two board members. The officers of the Council shall be the President, the President-Elect, and Secretary-Treasurer. They, along with the Executive Director, who shall serve ex officio as a nonvoting member, shall serve as the executive committee. The executive committee shall assure that the policies set by the Board of Directors are implemented, and it shall propose matters for consideration by the Board of Directors. Officers shall be nominated from within the current Board of Directors. The nominee for an officer who receives a simple majority of the ballots cast at the annual business meeting shall be elected thereto.
