DOUG AND LEA COPPAGE CEO PROVIDED FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO THE COPPAGES FOR THEIR MINISTRY IN HUNGARY. THEY LIVE AND SERVE IN VAC, WHICH IS 30 MINUTES NORTH OF BUDAPEST. THEIR MINISTRY WAS TO HIGH SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS AS WELL AS ADULTS THROUGH ENGLISH AND BASEBALL INSTRUCTION. THEY ARE ALSO ACTIVE IN THE DEAF COMMUNITY THROUGH SERVING AS A PARTICIPANT/ADVISOR TO THE DEAF CHURCH IN BUDAPEST. DOUG ANNUALLY PARTICIPATES IN THE LEADERSHIP OF THE NATIONAL DEAF MINISTRY CAMP. ADDITIONALLY, THEY ARE ACTIVE IN SPORTS MINISTRY AS DOUG IS AN ORGANIZER AND COACH FOR A YOUTH BASEBALL TEAM AND MAINTAINS A BASEBALL FIELD IN COOPERATION WITH THE CITY. THEY WERE VISITED ON SITE SEVERAL TIMES IN THE FISCAL YEAR. LASZLO AND KERI NEMETH CEO PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE WORK OF THE NEMETHS IN BUDAPEST. LASZLO IS THE FOUNDING PASTOR OF THE SOUTH BUDAPEST CHURCH AND HAS BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH CEO SINCE THE BEGINNING OF OUR WORK. THEIR CHURCH SERVES SOUTHERN BUDAPEST NEIGHBORHOODS NEAR THE AIRPORT AND THEIR CHURCH OUTREACH INCLUDES THE HOMELESS AND ORPHANS. DARDA ROMA CHURCH DARDA MINISTRIES SERVE AS THE BASE OF THE OUTREACH OF CEO TO THE ROMA PEOPLE GROUP IN THE BALKANS. THIS SUPPORT INCLUDES GRANTS FOR EDUCATION, FOR CHILDREN TO ATTEND SUMMER CAMPS, AND FUNDING FOR MINISTRY LEADERS. THESE FUNDS SUPPORT THE MISSION OF CEO AND ARE MANAGED AND DISTRIBUTED WITH THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S OVERSIGHT/APPROVAL IN COLLABORATION WITH MELODY WACHSMUTH OF OSIJEK,CROATIA. DURING THE YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION INCURRED TRAVEL COSTS FOR THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO MAKE SITE VISITS TO SUPPORT, TRAIN, AND ENSURE MISSION APPROPRIATE ACTIVITY OF MINISTRY PARTNERS IN EUROPE. THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR PROVIDED MENTORING AND COACHING TO 46 LEADERS WHO ARE SERVING IN CHURCHES, SCHOOLS, THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTIONS, AND NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS IN EIGHT NATIONS. THIS MENTORING TOOK PLACE DURING FOUR PERIODIC ON-SITE VISITS TO THE FIELD AND THROUGH VARIOUS FORMS OF TELECOMMUNICATION. HE ALSO PROVIDED THEOLOGICAL INSTRUCTION TO INDIVIDUALS AS A FORM OF DISCIPLE MAKING, TO GROUPS IN CHURCH, CONFERENCE, AND IN ACADEMIC THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTIONS IN FOR-CREDIT COURSE SETTINGS. CEO PUBLISHED TWO BOOKS AUTHORED BY THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR IN FY19 ONE IN ENGLISH AND ONE IN RUSSIAN. |

FROM THIS MINISTRY GREW AN INITIATIVE PROVIDING SUPPORT TO THE POOR ON DEVELOPING VEGETABLE GARDENS AND IMPROVING THEIR FAMILY'S NUTRITION, THIS IS ESPECIALLY IMPORTANT FOR THE MANY WHO ARE TAKING HIV MEDICATION. THEY FOUNDED, LED AND DEVELOPED LEADERSHIP FOR A MINISTRY CALLED 'GROWING HOPE' THAT PROVIDED HOUSING TO THE POOR AS WELL AS FOOD. THIS MINISTRY HAS OPENED MANY DOORS FOR RELATIONSHIP AND THE SHARING OF THE GOSPEL. THEIR TIME OF SERVICE IN SOUTH AFRICA ENDED IN MAY OF 2019 AS THEY TURNED OVER THE LEADERSHIP OF THE CHURCH AND THE OUTREACH MINISTRY TO SOUTH AFRICAN LEADERSHIP. THEY ENDED THE YEAR ON A SCHEDULED SABBATICAL UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF CEO'S EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR. DURING THIS SABBATICAL, THEY WILL BE COLLABORATING WITH CEO AS TO THEIR NEXT FIELD OF SERVICE. |
