Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 30	In 2018, NPRA launched three new chapters and began discussions with other target markets. NPRA also embarked on developing the first, and only, industry specific certification and credentialing program. This is significant since national licensure does not exist and will enhance the professional nature of this unlicensed and largely unregulated industry. In addition, NPRA engaged in public policy and legislative issues. NPRA testified in Arizona against a bill that would have hurt the industry as well as supported bills that increased transparency in the profession. Finally, through our new local chapters, relationships are being developed through the education programs with state licensing entities, other trade organizations that serve seniors and families, public servants, first responder groups, and many others.
Form 990-EZ, Part V, Line 34	At the NPRA 4th quarter meeting in November 2018, a resolution was passed to expand the board from nine to eleven seats and plans were made to recruit new board candidates for 2019 as well as create a future board development process.
