	SAFE SODO: Contracted with private security to provide roving security patrols Monday through Saturday to ensure safety in the SODO business district. Contracted with the Seattle Police Department to provide off duty patrols to address chronic crime and nuisance issues in SODO.

	CLEAN SODO: Contracted for services to maintain a clean environment for SODO employees. In 2018 services included a contract for bi-weekly street sweeping and a contract to conduct quarterly sidewalk cleanings, including illegal dumping removal. Additionally, we provided dumpsters and porta-potties for all Seahawks home games for the benefit of visiting sports fans and neighboring businesses. We also supported graffiti prevention through funding for public art along the SODO Track.

Leveraged influence and investments to improve the conditions of the district for commerce to thrive in SODO.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 11b: Form 990 Review Process	The Form 990 is presented to the entire Board of Directors electronically for review at the Board meeting before it is filed with the IRS.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 12c: Explanation of Monitoring and Enforcement of Conflicts	At the beginning of each year, Board Members are asked to review and sign an updated conflict of interest form.
Form 990, Part VI, Line 15a: Compensation Review & Approval Process - CEO, Top Management	For salary decisions, an outside consultant produced a memo based on the International Downtown Associations 2017 Salary Study showing the salaries and benefits of compatible positions nationally and specifically to the Downtown Seattle BIA's. Based on that information, the Governance Committee proposed salary ranges for the staff positions and set the salary level for each staff person. The decision was approved by the entire board.
