Part IV, Line 2b: Explanation of escrow account liability

During the year CAFP served as the fiscal agent for major continuing medical education initiatives: Reproductive Health Initiative (RHI), Chronic Lower Back Pain Education (CLBP), Collaboration for REMS Education (CO*RE), WONCA International Symposia (WONCA-2), and National Institute on Drug Abuse Opioid Symposia (NIDA).As these initiatives were developed, the partners involved entered into an agreement with the grantors - Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association, REMS Pharmaceutical Companies, Pfizer, and JBS International - that CAFP would serve as the "Fiscal Intermediary" for the initiatives, with a small management fee included in the grant to support the work. CAFP distributes the grant award payments to the partners in accordance with the projected activity payment schedule..
