Briefly describe the organization’s mission: To accelerate the conformance of technology that is both open and standards compliant to ensure public safety, secure and inter-operable framework for the next generation of communication tools by guiding the implementation and testing of technical specifications requirements for applications, handsets, connected devices, cloud applications and storage that will be used by the first responder community.

	Held Plugtest. The capabilities of Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT), Mission Critical Data (MCDATA) and Mission Critical Video (MCVIDEO) were tested during an intensive week of more than 300 combinations of vendors and equipment at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas from June 25-29.

	Established technical subcommittees working in the areas of Identity/Single Sign-On, LMR-LTE Interoperability, Mission Critical Push-to-Talk/Video/Data, Cybersecurity, and Mapping/Location Based Services. These six technical subcommittees met on a weekly basis throughout 2018 and involved volunteer first responder subcommittee members from public safety agencies including police departments, fire departments, and emergency medical services agencies as well as volunteer representatives from PSTA industry members to analyze existing open standards and provide guidance to meet the needs of public safety agencies in all six technical areas. The subcommittee participants worked to draft initial recommendations for industry and public safety on interoperability and usability in for current and future technology to leverage open standard solutions.

Conducted all management and strategic planning activities to include without limitation detailed financial and management planning, recruitment strategy, and mission approach for PSTA. Conducted ongoing updates to the board, including developing of all board agendas, compiling read ahead materials, reviewing minutes, resolutions, and follow up correspondence. Reviewed and approved all invoices, supported membership services to include technical subcommittee meeting facilitation and management, meeting notes review, member updates, drafting of subcommittee reports, recruitment of new industry and public safety members at conferences and events, creating and leveraging social media accounts (LinkedIn, Twitter) for PSTA to keep membership informed of activities. Held teleconferences and follow up to recruit new public safety and industry members. Drafted press releases and updates to the public, and provided website content for events and activities, and drafted and revised blogs and other content associated with the recommendations of the PSTA subcommittees. Held recruitment meetings at international public safety technology conferences such as IWCE. Held PSTA Executive Advisory Council meetings, tracked meeting minutes drafting and review and created agendas and follow up for future meetings. Developed and drafted all PSTA policies and managed the same.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 3: Description of Delegated Duties to Management Company	The Public Safety Network has been contracted to perform senior management duties of PSTA. This includes providing senior executives in the role of PSTA CEO / Executive Director, as well as VP/Treasurer/Secretary, including ongoing staff support. The Public Safety Network also reviewed all contract documents, managed the framework and content and follow up for all public safety and industry personnel in the weekly and regular PSTA Technical Subcommittee meetings, each PSTA Executive Advisory Council (EAC) meeting and each PSTA Board meeting throughout the year. The Public Safety Network provided all general management services such as strategic planning, budget oversight, financial planning and execution, marketing, recruitment, strategic direction of all staff and subcommittee work, all briefings to the board and EAC, conducted public speeches, conferences, and webinars. The Public Safety Network provided expert public safety team resources to also include Public Safety Network staff on calls and meetings in addition to the senior executives noted above. Association Management Solutions, LLC was contracted to provide front office membership services such as invoicing of membership dues; payment processing; onboarding of new members; taking member and non-member calls and questions and relaying to PSTA executive team for follow up; website hosting, additions and changes; all bookkeeping and creation of monthly financials for review and decisions by executive management; meeting minutes and meeting notices, and submission of press releases to news wire services at direction of PSTA executive management.
