    1 In-Depth Diagnostics (IDD) is a non-profit private operating foundation formed on December 20, 2016 to improve the clinical treatment of rare and hard to diagnose neurological conditions by pursuing cutting-edge genomic analysis. For patients suffering from these disorders, diagnosis by a clinical specialist can take upwards of 10 years; lack of a diagnosis precludes the physician from offering established treatments and imposes a truly life-threatening delay of care. In 2018, the foundation was largely interviewing physicians and patients to elicit the challenges of genetic diagnosis and to identify the points at which the process was breaking. As a result of this, patient and physician registries were built and populated. In addition, an online portal was thoroughly evaluated for its ability to aid the diagnostic journey. 82,666
