Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line Exempt Purpose Hawaii Island Sports Officials Association provides recruitment, training, preparation and development/improvement of officials and offciating in the areas of youth, and high school sports.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 Recruitment, training, preparation and development of amateur sports officials in various youth and high school sports. Provides sports officials to act as liaison between IC Sports Official and the Sports Associations. Approximately 1,337 games were officiated during the fiscal year and approximately 70,000 people benefited from this program.
Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 29 Sports Clinics. Basketball and volleyball clinics for high school officials looking to further their careers into the college level. Two clinics were held during the fiscal year and approximately 150 officials/participants benefited from the program.
