ODVN PROVIDES A RELOCATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, THAT IS THE ONLY BACK UP FOR LOCAL PROGRAMS, WHEN THEY NEED TO MOVE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SURVIVORS AND THEIR CHILDREN TO SAFETY. IN 2019, ODVN PROVIDED 529 OF SURVIVIORS WITH AN AVERAGE OF 850 IN DIRECT ASSISTANCE FOR SECURITY DEPOSTS, UTILITIES, TRANSPORATION, AND MOVING EXPENSES. IN MOST CASES, THE LIFE OF THE VICTIM OR LIVE OF THEIR CHILDREN HAD BEEN THREATENDED BY THE ABUSER.
