	The Organization is the statewide association for Minnesota's 25 private nonprofit community action agencies serving all 87 counties. Its members deliver more than 100 different programs. To support its members work, the Organization provides a wide range of administrative, informational, advocacy, communications and training services to advance the well-being and economic empowerment of low-income Minnesotans. For example, the Organization provides leadership for asset development advocacy and programming such as individual development accounts, financial literacy, and free tax preparation services. The Organization also provides a wide range of training and technical assistance to its members related to Organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous quality improvement.

Part X, Line 2:

Management believes that it is not reasonably possible for any tax position benefits to increase or decrease significantly over the next 12 months. As of December 31, 2019, there were no income tax related accrued interest or penatlies recognized in either the statement of financial position or the statement of activities. The Organization filed information returns in the U.S. federal and in Minnesota state jurisdictions. U.S. federal returns and Minnesota returns prior to fiscal year 2016 are closed. No returns are currently under examination in any tax jurisdiction.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	The Community Action Agencies are the Organization's members. They pay dues to the Organization and in return receive a wide range of services. The Board of Directors consists of the 25 members, community action agency representatives. All members have a vote on Board of Directors/governance issues. In each odd number year, the members of the board elects the officers.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	The Board of Directors consists of the chief executives of each member agency, which are selected by the respective agencies.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b	The Finance Commitee reviews the Form 990 and makes a recommendation to the Board of Directors prior to filing. The Board acts on this recommendation.
