What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? The specific purpose of the Corporation is to pay for activities and events connected with the swearing in and inauguration ceremonies of the Mayor of San Francisco, to pay for staff, vendors and overhead costs associated with these events and activities, and to relieve the City and County of San Francisco of the cost of conducting these events and activities.
