| FORM 990, SCHEDULE L, PART IV | Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce has a formal agreement with the Tyler Economic Development Council (TEDC) for the joint promotion of Tyler. The agreement was executed in 1992 and stipulated that the President of TEDC (Tom Mullins) would also serve as the President of the Chamber and several other employees would work for both entities.For the year ended September 30, 2019, the Chamber paid TEDC $189,212 to reimburse TEDC for payroll costs of shared employees and other miscellaneous expenses. This amount included $70,480 related to Tom Mullins and $118,732 related to other shared employees.On January 1, 1999 TEDC entered into a fifteen year lease agreement with the Chamber. The agreement is renewable on an annual basis after maturity of the original agreement. Rent expenses paid to the Chamber from TEDC for 2019 were $37,283.91.As part of an agreement between the Chamber and the TEDC, $6,187.53 was paid to the TEDC as half of the proceeds from a special event. |
