We were unable to file the Form 990 on time due to the following factors: In Puerto Rico, due to the Pandemic bring by COVID 19, everything was lockdown until June 30, 2020. We had a lockdown and curfew since March 15, 2020 and when the country started to slowly reopen the Accountant that usually completed and efiled the Form 990 on an annual basis, was not able to continue to work with the APWU. At that time we tried to find a new Accountant, we made several attemp to contract one, but was very difficult, since the tax season, also, was impacted by the COVID 19, and they were in arrears. No one was available to do the preparation and efiling of the Form 990 before August 2020.
