Part X, Line 2:	The Organization is exempt from federal and state income taxes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and similar state income tax laws. The Organization is not a private foundation and contributions to the Organization qualify as a charitable tax deduction by the contributor. The Organization reviews and assesses its tax positions taken or expected to be taken in tax returns. Based on this assessment the Organization determines whether it is more likely than not that the position would be sustained upon examination by tax authorities. The Organization's assessment has not identified any significant positions that it believes would not be sustained under examination. The Organization has identified its tax status as a tax-exempt entity as it's only significant tax position and has determined that such tax position does not result in an uncertainty requiring recognition. The Organization is not currently under examination by any taxing jurisdiction. Its federal income tax returns are generally open for examination for three years after the date of filing, including extensions.

Form 990, Part III, line 3	In 2019, the Organization's annual conference was conjoined with the National Annual Conference which took place in Minneapolis.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 6	We are a non-profit corporation with members that pay for educational sessions.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7a	All board directors must be members to be elected to the board. The board is responsible for electing the new board directors.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 7b	We act within the bylaws which are approved by the national association.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 11b	A copy of the 990 and backup materials are distributed to the board at a monthly board meeting. The officers review under the direction of the Treasurer.
Form 990, Part VI, Section B, line 12c	Annually, every board director agrees and signs the policy. If there is a conflict, it must be noted on the form. The President oversees the implementation of the board director not voting, if a conflict of interest exists.
