In support of that goal, teachers received training on how to teach students to self-regulate their emotions, as a way of coping with stress and trauma. This grant provided age-appropriate materials to fill self-regulation kits for all students in all schools to access as needed, to support mental health and consistent learning. | Pt III, Line 31 | Campbell Elementary School, Better Than Broadway Productions is a week -long theater program that the entire second grade participates in. Over the course of four two-hour sessions, on four consecutive days, the students learn an original musical production that teaches lessons about cooperation, kindness, acceptance and anti-bullying. On the fifth and final day of the program, two performances are held, one for parents of all the second grade students, and one for every student in grades 1st, 3rd and 4th, so that the entire Campbell Elementary School benefits from this grant. This equipment will allow students interested in technology, TV production, communications, news and broadcasting to get hands-on experience in these areas, while also increasing interest in the school news of the day, by having peers provide this information.
