House Corporations may look for some guidance to Alpha Phi International and/or other House Corporations , but are largely responsible for their own actions. Each entity operates under the broad Alpha Phi designation but keeps local control. There is no parent/subsidiary, brother/sister or supporting/supported relationship. Each entity files a separate exemption application and files its own separate Form 990.

Form 990, Part VI, Line 6: Explanation of Classes of Members or Shareholder	All members of said Corporation shall be persons admitted to membership in the chapter (whether by formal initiation or formal affiliation as provided under the policies and procedures of The Fraternity) and such other members of the Fraternity who are so admitted, by a majority vote of the Board of Directors of the Corporation.Additionally members of this Corporation shall be limited to those persons who shall meet all of the following qualifications:a.She shall be a member in good standing with the Fraternity;b.She shall have attained the age of majority under the laws in the state of Colorado.c.She shall have paid her house/chapter bond in full to her collegiate chapter and shall not be in default in any other payments to the Corporation or the Fraternity; andd.She shall have personally notified the secretary of the Corporation, in writing, of her desire to become a member and have furnished to the secretary a personal mailing address.

	The Organization provides housing for approximately 60 members of a fraternity while they attend University of Colorado, Boulder. The Organization also provides meals and a meeting place for all members of which there are approximately 250.
