Grantmaker's Description of How Grants are Used	The Executive Committee formally approved a new scholarship benefit to member banks and their employees which began in 2016. Employees or children of employees of member banks will be eligible to receive scholarship funds from the Trust for various banking related educational needs (banking colleges, general tuition, certification programs, etc.). The banking school benefit is a scholarship offered by the Association which covers tuition, room and board for the entire length of the approved school program which usually lasts three years. Scholarship awardees are required to maintain eligibility throughout the entire length of the program in order to continue receiving the scholarship benefits. Eligibility requirements are comprised of continued employment in the Associations member bank, and continued enrollment in the approved banking school. Payment of scholarship awards is made directly to the schools.
