What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? CMD is an informal network of leaders in life sciences, including research, medicine, patient advocacy, public health, academia, education, labor and business, working together to advocate for national public policies that spur the discovery and advancement of new lifesaving medicines and to inform the national dialogue about how to foster continued medical advances for U.S. patients, sustain and grow high-value, high-wage jobs, and help ensure global competitiveness.
