	THE QUINCY BOAT CLUB HAD A VERY UNUSUAL YEAR AS THE BUILDING WAS TOTALLY DESTROYED BY THE FLOOD WATERS OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER IN THE SPRING OF 2019, AND CLOSED ON MAY 1ST 2019. PRIOR TO THAT ON 3/08/2019 THE CLUB WAS USED BY GREAT RIVER SKI CLUB TO HOST A FUNDRAISER THAT WAS USED TO TEACH KIDS HOW TO WATER SKI. THE CLUB HOSTED THE QUINCY CLASSIC BOAT SEPT 13-15 2019 ON THE DOCKS WITHOUT A BUILDING. THE CLUB IS MAKING PLANS TO REPLACE THE DESTROYED BUILDING IN 2020 AND BUILD IT ABOVE THE FLOOD LEVELS. THE CLUB LOOKS FORWARD TO HOSTING MORE SAFE BOATING CLASSES IN 2020.
