What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP THE GROWTH OF TENNIS IN THE STATE OF MONTANA.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 THE MONTANA TENNIS ASSOCIATION (MTA) PROMOTES AND DEVELOPS ADULT AND JUNIOR TENNIS COMPETITIONS THROUGH STATEWIDE TENNIS TRAINING PROGRAMS, EDUCATIONAL/SKILL WORKSHOPS, THE DEVELOPMENT OF LEAGUE PLAY, AND MULTIPLE SANCTIONED TOURNAMENTS.THE MONTANA TENNIS ASSOCIATION SERVED APPROXIMATELY 1,500 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS AND 30 REGISTERED ORGANIZATION MEMBERS. ADDITIONALLY, MTA WORKED WITH ROUGHLY 3,500 CHILDREN UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE THROUGH THE "NET GENERATION PROGRAMS AT SCHOOLS AS WELL AS SUMMER PROGRAMS ON 4 NATIVE AMERICAN RESERVATIONS. GRANTS TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUAL SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE TO MAKE THESE PROGRAMS ACCESSIBLE TO CHILDREN OF LOW-INCOME AND DIVERSE BACKGROUNDS.
