What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Low Income Housing
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 In April we were approached by Displaced Tenants Fund to apply for their grant for low income housing. Six members worked together to fill out the grant application, the grant application deadline was May 10, 2019. Members put in 100 hours to complete the grant application. As a final part of grant application process, in July we hosted 4 members of the Displaced Tenants Fund for a two-hour tour of our grounds and units. In September we were awarded $350,000 from The Displaced Tenants Fund, which required a 501(c)3 to become our fiscal sponsor, which we obtained through Angels for Angels. We also rebuilt the landing at the top of the stairs and part of the catwalk with help from the entire group. We completed the buildout of an outdoor storage shed. We installed gates at three locations on the alley side of our buildings.
