Part X : FIN48 Footnote	Management has evaluated its tax positions and the certainty as to whether those positions will be sustained in the event of an audit by taxing authorities at the federal and state levels. The primary tax positions evaluated are related to how income and expenses are recorded and unrelated business income. The Chamber files federal and California income tax returns.The Chamber has evaluated its tax positions for all open tax years and tax years that are subject to examination by the Internal Revenue Service and the Franchise Tax Board. The open years are 2015, 2016 and 2017 for federal and 2014 through 2017 for California. The Chamber is not currently under audit nor has the Chamber been contacted by any jurisdiction.Based on the evaluation of the Chambers tax positions, management believes all positions taken would be upheld under an examination. Therefore, no provision for the effect of uncertain tax positions have been recorded for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2019.
