TO ENSURE THAT STARTUP CHAPTERS CAN BE SUSTAINABLE AND WILL FOLLOW THE REQUIREMENTS TO BE FORMALLY AFFILIATED WITH PHP: THE PHP BOARD HAS PUBLISHED A CHAPTER MANUAL TO INCLUDE ALL OF THE PERTINENT INFORMATION WITH REGARDS TO ESTABLISHING A CHAPTER. THE PHP BOARD HAS WRITTEN AND APPROVED BYLAWS FOR ESTABLISHED CHAPTERS WHICH MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CHAPTER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. THE PHP BOARD HAS WRITTEN AND APPROVED A CHAPTER AGREEMENT WHICH MUST BE SIGNED BY THE CHAPTER PRESIDENT AND RETURNED TO PHP. - WE PROVIDE GUIDANCE AND MATERIALS FOR STARTUP CHAPTERS. OUR BOARD VOLUNTEERS AND THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MAKE OURSELVES AVAILABLE TO HELP WITH FINDING LOCATIONS, SPEAKERS, LOCAL CONTACTS, ETC. AS PREPARATION BEGINS TO ESTABLISH A NEW CHAPTER. WE PROVIDE A FREE LENDING LIBRARY OF BOOKS FOR OUR STARTUP CHAPTERS. WE PROVIDE A CHAPTER PHONE AND BUSINESS CARDS FOR OUR STARTUP CHAPTERS. THOSE INCLUDE NORMAN AND EDMOND, OKLAHOMA. - IN 2019, WE LAUNCHED A PHP VIRTUAL CHAPTER AND WE'VE LAUNCHED TWO STARTUP CHAPTERS WHICH INCLUDE OKLAHOMA CITY AND TULSA, OKLAHOMA. - APPROXIMATELY 1,100 PARENTS/CAREGIVERS ATTENDED OUR CHAPTER MEETINGS. - VIRTUAL CHAPTER-IN THREE SHORT MONTHS, MORE THAN 700 ADDITIONAL PARENTS OR OTHER INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS HAVE VIEWED OUR RECORDED VIRTUAL CHAPTER LIVE MEETINGS. - WE PARTICIPATED AS EXHIBITORS AT CONFERENCES, SCHOOL FAIRS AND OTHER EVENTS RELATED TO MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER. WE ESTIMATE THAT WE REACHED APPROXIMATELY 2,000 PARENTS, CAREGIVERS OR OTHER INTERESTED INDIVIDUALS AT THESE EVENTS.
