Schedule D, Part X, Line 2: FIN 48 (ASC 740)	The trust funding the Plan obtained its latest exemption letter on February 12, 2007, in which the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) stated that the trust is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(9) of the Code as a Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association. The plan and trust are required to operate in conformity with the Code to maintain the tax-exempt status of the trust. Plan management and the Company believe that the Plan is currently designed and being operated in compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code. Therefore, no provision has been included in the Plan's financial statements. Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States require plan management to evaluate uncertain tax positions taken by the Plan. The financial statement effects of a tax position are recognized when the position is more likely than not, based on the technical merits, to be sustained upon examination by the IRS. The trust funding the Plan obtained its latest exemption letter on February 12, 2007, in which the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) stated that the trust is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(9) of the Code as a Voluntary Employee Beneficiary Association. The plan and trust are required to operate in conformity with the Code to maintain the tax-exempt status of the trust. Plan management and the Company believe that the Plan is currently designed and being operated in compliance with the applicable requirements of the Code. Therefore, no provision has been included in the Plan's financial statements. Accounting principles generally accepted in the United States require plan management to evaluate uncertain tax positions taken by the Plan. The financial statement effects of a tax position are recognized when the position is more likely than not, based on the technical merits, to be sustained upon examination by the IRS.
