Part X : FIN48 Footnote	The Club is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, income from certain activities not directly related to the Clubs tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. The Club has been classified as an organization that does not qualify for deductible contributions. In accordance with ASC Topic 740 "Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes", the Club has evaluated its tax positions. A tax position is recognized as a benefit only if it is "more likely than not" that the tax position would be sustained in a tax examination, with a tax examination being presumed to occur. The amount recognized is the largest amount of tax benefit that has a likelihood of being realized on examination of more than fify percent. The Club is a not-for-profit organization that is exempt from Federal income tax under Section 501(c)(7) of the Internal Revenue Code. However, income from certain activities not directly related to the Clubs tax-exempt purpose is subject to taxation as unrelated business income. The Club has been classified as an organization that does not qualify for deductible contributions. In accordance with ASC Topic 740 "Accounting for Uncertainty in Income Taxes", the Club has evaluated its tax positions. A tax position is recognized as a benefit only if it is "more likely than not" that the tax position would be sustained in a tax examination, with a tax examination being presumed to occur. The amount recognized is the largest amount of tax benefit that has a likelihood of being realized on examination of more than fify percent. For tax positions not meeting the "more likely than not" test, no tax benefit is recorded.
