Form 990, Part III, Line 1 Continued...protect natural resources, and stimulate the economy;(ii) informing the public by educational methods on the public interst and concern of education; and (iii) conducting research and publicizing the position of elected officials concerning these issues. The main activities of Peak Partnership will be the following: Advocating for effective local and state legislation and ballot issues related to improving educational equality and financing for all students in the Colorado Springs, Colorado area. Developing local community leaders involved in urban education and community leadership. developing and supporting professional and capable local leaders to run and serve in roles that directly impact urban education and community development. The above activities listed above will be initiated in part by the Peak Partnership staff and in part through partnerships with community minded organizations and leaders.
