	The BHCA operates a community swimming pool that served 405 member families from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The pool provides a place for members to excercise, socialize and develop a sense of community.

	The BHCA operates a youth swim team each pool season that is open to all BHCA members. During the summer of 2018, children of 52 families participated on the BHCA swim team that competed in Frederick County Summer Swim League. The swim team provides a place for children to exercise, develop their swimming skills, learn to participate in a team sport and develop a sense of community. Approximate 180 people volunteer to assist with running the swim team and its various activities.

Pt VI, Line 3	BHCA contracts with a company to manage the operations of the BHCA community pool. This includes staffing for lifeguards and maintenance and repairs for the pool. The lifeguards are employees of the management company.
Pt VI, Line 7b	An annual meeting is held for voting members to attend and vote in the new Board of Directors as positions become available and to approve the operating and capital budgets for the new fiscal year.
Pt VI, Line 11b	Detail financial records as well as other narrative information are provided by the Board, Officers and various committees to the accountant. The accountant uses that information to compile accounting records that become the basis for the Form 990. The completed Form 990 is provided to the BHCA Treasurer for review and approval for before filing with IRS.
