What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE MISSION OF THE CALIFORNIA WATERFOWL LEGISLATIVE ACTION FUND (CWLAF) IS TO CONSERVE CALIFORNIA'S WATERFOWL, WETLANDS, AND HUNTING HERITAGE THROUGH LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 CALIFORNIA WATERFOWL LEGISLATIVE ACTION FUND (CWLAF) IS AN AFFILIATE TO THE CALIFORNIA WATERFOWL ASSOCIATION, (CWA) A 501(C)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT ENGAGES IN A BROAD RANGE OF ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION AND EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES. CWA ALSO HAS AS ITS MISSION THE CONSERVATION OF CALIFORNIA'S WATERFOWL, WETLANDS, AND HUNTING HERITAGE. CWLAF WILL SUPPORT THE GOALS AND FURTHER THE OBJECTIVES OF CWA BY MOBILIZING THE CALIFORNIA HUNTING COMMUNITY TO LOBBY ON LEGISLATION, PRIMARILY AT THE STATE LEVEL, TO PRESERVE THREATENED WILDLIFE HABITATS AND EXPAND RECREATIONAL HUNTING AND FISHING OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL CALIFORNIANS. CWLAF WILL MONITOR FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LEGISLATION THAT MIGHT IMPACT HUNTING OR WILDLIFE HABITAT IN CALIFORNIA, AND WILL LOBBYING IN FOR LEGISLATION TO PROTECT CALIFORNIA HUNTING RIGHTS AND PROMOTE SCIENCE-BASED WATERFOWL AND WETLAND CONSERVATION.
