| Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 8 | "Other Revenue" consisted of funds received strictly for administrative operations (i.e., not for community programs) such as payment for meals served at membership meetings, the sale of organizational items to members, and donations which were specified for the business operations. The amount does not include administrative dues which are reported on line 3. |
| Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 10 | All grants and community support donations made by the organization are fully explained by statements shown in PART III, LINES 28, 29, and 30. |
| Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 16 | "Other Expenses" consisted of funds spent for administrative business operations (and not on community program services) such as membership dues paid to parent organizations, the purchase of organizational supplies for members, the purchase of food catering at membership meetings, and Directors/Officers Insurance. |
| Form 990-EZ, Part I, Line 20 | "Other changes in net assets" came from a reduction in the unrealized worth of a Morgan Stanley investment portfolio due to poor market conditions. |
| Form 990-EZ, Part II, Line 24 | "Other Assets" has two parts. (PART 1) On advice of audit, an investment portfolio with Morgan Stanley, previously reported in Line 24 (Other Assets) is now reported in Line 22 "Cash, savings & investments". The start of year worth on Line 24 was $110,578. $4,000 was used to grant 4 scholarships to local high school graduates, and with the portfolio losing $1,213 in worth due to poor market conditions, the remaining worth of $105,365 is now part of "end of year" Line 22, so that the end of year worth of Part 1 is $0. (PART 2) Our advanced payment for a future purchase of Christmas trees in May is considered "other assets" at the end of the FY (June). For Part 2 the FY started with $4,500 as other assets, which became a paid expense in November. In May 2020, the same amount $4,500 was again a deposit for a future purchase, so that for Part 2 the FY ends with $4,500 as "other assets." |
