| Form 990-EZ, Part III, Line 28 | Policy Research. Arizonans for Secure Elections will conduct, coordinate, and sponsor research concerning the security of Arizonas elections, specifically regarding voter data security, fraud detection, prevention, as well as research on how improved election security and integrity can expand access to voting for particularly for previously disenfranchised voters. The results of this activity will be used to inform and direct the public education and awareness of these issues and provide public policy recommendations. Public Education. Arizonans for Secure Elections endeavors to increase public awareness and educate residents about principles and policies impacting election security and prevention of fraud in Arizona in addition to expanded access to voting. The organization expects to accomplish this goal by hosting small events, policy forums, town halls, and policy institutes for community members and political leadership within Arizona. The organization will also do this by preparing and distributing literature concerning the impact of these policies. The organization will utilize various media outlets, including television, radio, newsletters, and online social media platforms to disseminate its educational messages. In addition, the organization will promote principles and policies that inform Arizonans of that by strengthening our education security apparatus, and vastly expanding access to voting, we inherently make our democracy stronger. This will in turn empower Arizonan communities and citizens to reach out to their elected representatives and participate in public dialogue regarding these issues. To the extent the organization advocates public policy positions at its informational events are in its literature, the positions will be supported by a sufficiently full and fair exposition of pertinent facts to permit the reader to form an independent opinion. Advocacy Activities. Arizonans for Secure Elections may advocate changes in public policy, particularly those centered on implementation of more advance encompassing voting data security measures related to protecting Social Security numbers, addresses, dates of birth, and any additional personal information that could expose Arizonans to fraud or disenfranchisement in the event of a data breach. The objective may be accomplished by educating members of the Arizona legislature and other governing bodies, or a broadly summoning literature advocating changes in public policies. |
