What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? Promote training, disseminate training knowledge, conduct classes for training of dogs and their handlers.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 TMDTC offered 64 different obed-related classes targeted to the general public throughout the calendar year. We also sponsored one training seminar targeted at youth on the topic of Junior Handling, 3 AKC Obedience-Rally Trials, 1 AKC Sanctioned Match, 1 AKC Farm Dog Testing, 3 AKC Agility Trials, and also staffed public education booths at 2 local area pet fairs and participated in the Veterans Day Parade. TMDTC also has a relationship with the local 4-H Group, and provides a meeting space and mentorship for that program. TMDTC offered AKC Canine Good Citizen and TDI Therapy Dog testing to the general public 6 times in 2018. TMDTC has both a website and Facebook presence for public accessability. TMDTC meets monthly, and encourages interested general public parties to attend and participate.
