What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? TO ADVANCE THE GENERAL WELFARE AND PROSPERITY OF THE SAN LUIS VALLEY SO THAT ITS CITIZENS AND ALL AREAS OF ITS BUSINESS COMMUNITY WILL PROSPER. PROMOTION AND EDUCATION WILL BE PROVIDED WITH PARTICULAR ATTENTION GIVEN TO THE ECONOMIC, CIVIC, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL INTERESTS OF THE AREA AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR INVOLVEMENT.

28 THE ALAMOSA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE SERVES 216 MEMBERS IN THE ALAMOSA CITY AND COUNTY AREA. THE ALAMOSA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE HOSTED SEVERAL EVENTS INCLUDING AN ICE FEST. THE ICE FESTIVAL IS HELD ANNUALY IN DOWNTOWN ALAMOSA AND BRINGS MANY PEOPLE TO THE DOWNTOWN SHOPPING AREA.
