While the Organization and Subsidiary believe they have adequately provided for all tax positions, amounts asserted by taxing authorities could be different than the positions taken by both organizations. The Organization and Subsidiary recognize any interest and penalties assessed by taxing authorities in income tax expense and, with few exceptions, is no longer subject to federal, state, or local income tax examinations by tax authorities for years before 2016.
