Below is a list of the current programs and changes we have made as a response to COVID-19. Our goal is to continue to provide most of these services beyond the pandemic. ?Telehealth - staff and interns continue to virtually support youth that need counseling services. If youth can and want to continue past the intern time we are offering continued support. These are sent to all on our contact list as well as through our social media platforms. ?Launched care@sewi - email where community members can ask for extra support for either themselves or others. SEWI staff connect and support these individuals. ?Partner Staff Support - working with organizational leadership to provide wellness activities and group check ins to staff. ?Wellness Toolkit - we are working with program partners to help with the anticipated transition of staff and youth going back to sites after having been isolated in their homes. ?Kollab, Leadership Master Class - SEWI is working with the LA Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs to help facilitate social and emotional wellness workshops for teens across the county. ?May - Giving Tuesday - SEWI is giving back to the community by providing free online activities ?LAUSD Teacher Librarian Training - Training on how to create virtual wellness spaces for teacher librarians across the state. |

After disclosure of the Financial Interest, the Interested Person shall leave the board meeting while the remaining board members discuss and vote on whether a conflict of interest exists.After exercising due diligence, the governing board or committee shall determine whether the organization can obtain with reasonable effort a more advantageous transaction or arrangement from a person or entity that would not produce a conflict of interest. The Interested Person shall not be present in the room during the determination.If the committee has reason to believe an individual has failed to disclose actual or potential conflicts of interest, it will inform the member and allow him/her to explain the alleged failure to disclose. If the committee still has reason to believe a conflict of interest exists after the alleged conflict is explained, it will take corrective action. |
