VOLUNTEERS HANDED OUT 691 FOOD BOXES. DURING THE HOLIDAYS, WE PROVIDED TOYS TO 507 CHILDREN THROUGH TOY SHOP, AND 90 THROUGH ANGEL TREE. WE DELIVERED 1500 BAGS OF WRAPPED GIFTS TO SENIORS, AND GAVE AWAY 408 WINTER COATS AT OUR ANNUAL COAT GIVEAWAY. NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE ASSOCIATION PROVIDED A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS FROM JULY 2017 - JUNE 2018. NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE PROVIDED 733 FOOD BOXES THROUGH THE FOOD PANTRY. NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE HOLIDAY PROGRAMS SERVED 614 CHILDREN WITH OUR TOY SHOP, 150 CHILDREN THROUGH ANGEL TREE. 14 CHURCHES PROVIDED 4,172 HOT MEALS ON SUNDAYS TO THOSE IN NEED AT NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE. NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OFFERS SUMMER MEALS AT OUR LOCATION, AS WELL AS COMMON PLACE, PROCTOR RECREATION CENTER, DISTRICT 50 SCHOOLS IN WASHINGTON, AND ART, INC. WE SERVED 2,822 BREAKFAST MEALS AT TWO SITES AND 4,495 LUNCHES AT FIVE SITES. CLOSE TO 500 CHILDREN ALSO RECEIVED WEEKEND SNACK PACKS TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR DIETS OVER THE WEEKEND. DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR, THE ASSOCIATION SERVED 9,278 SNACKS TO CHILDREN AT THE DREAM CENTER AND 17,230 AFTER SCHOOL MEALS AT NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE. COMMON PLACE, AND DREAM CENTER. CHILDREN WHO ATTENDED ALSO RECEIVED HOMEWORK HELP AND PARTICIPATED IN ENRICHMENT ACTIVITIES SUCH AS ART AND MUSIC, PHYSICAL ACTIVITY, NUTRITION. DURING JULY 2017 - JUNE 2018, NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE PROVIDED 14,744 EVENING MEALS TO CHILDREN ONSITE AND AT DREAM CENTER. NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE PROVIDED 3,188 MEALS IN THE SUMMER TO CHILDREN A NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE, COMMON PLACE, AND SUNNYLAND. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO PROVIDED OVER 500 CHILDREN AT NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE AND 5 OTHER NON-PROFITS WITH SNACKS. FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT AND EMPLOYMENT - NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE SERVED 71 ADULTS, ASSISTING THEM IN FINDING JOBS AND IMPROVING THEIR FINANCIAL LITERACY FROM JULY 2018 - JUNE 2019.
