| Pt III, Line 31 | Lost and Found Recovery Center serves the region as a Christian ministry of healing for those who struggle with addiction. LNF is located at 111 7th St. S. Moorhead, MN. LNF is open M-F from 10 am-4 pm with other appointments available upon request. In July 2017, Lost and Found observed 30 years of service. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | Executive Director is Jann Johnson who has a Master's degree in Community Counseling, is a trained Recovery Coach in Minnesota and trained as a Care Coordinator and Peer Support Specialist in North Dakota. Our Staff includes Peer Support Specialists who are in recovery themselves who are working to provide support to our clients in recovery. They have had 40 hours of training. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | After some strategic planning, we have shifted our focus to primarily peer recovery support. With so many new counseling centers opening, we didn't have the flow of clients to sustain the salary cost of an addiction counselor. Beth Brantner, LPCC, LADC continues to lead our family support group on Tuesday night which allows family and friends impacted by a loved one's alcohol or drug dependency to better understand addiction and begin their own healing process. (Average attendance is 6-8 people.) We also provide many hours of guidance and support to families who are at a loss in struggling with a family member's addiction. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | After some strategic planning, we expanded the main focus for LNF to primarily offer peer recovery support. With self-help and mutual support, peers offer support, strength, and hope to their peer, which allows for personal growth, wellness promotion and recovery. By sharing their own lived experience and practical guidance, peer supports help people in recovery develop their own goals, create strategies for self-empowerment, and take concrete steps towards building fulfilling, self-determined lives for themselves. We have been serving 40-50 people each week over the past year. |

| Pt III, Line 31 | We also provide many hours of guidance and support to families who are at a loss in struggling with a family members addiction. One of our staff, Erica Rohman has been trained as a Loved Ones Coach to work with families and loved ones. We also have a volunteer who devotes several hours a week to provide support for families. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | These recovery services are augmented by Sandy Hanson, LADC, who works as a private contractor and provides chemical dependency evaluations. He also is licensed as an addiction counselor so she can fill in if we need a counselor. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | For recovery support, LNF hosts a weekly S.M.A.R.T. Recovery group every Tuesday and Wednesday night that is attended by 10-15 individuals seeking an alternative pathway to recovery. Erica also is just finishing the SMART training so that we can offer additional trainings. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | We recently started Transformational Empowerment classes for men and for women. Classes based on emotional intelligence that teaches how to handle emotions and the difficult situations that arise in our lives. Classes are six-week sessions for 2 hours a week. We recently received a grant from Alex Stern Foundation to adapt the curriculum for teens/young adults. Once the COVID 19 shutdown is over, we will be offering trainings as part of a new transition program at the juvenile detention center. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | The library had 512 transactions from 196 clients. The treatment centers and college classes continue to bring in groups of to check out materials for clients and for counselors to use in their group work. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | LNF also recently partnered with the FM Interfaith Community program. We are housing their library of resources as part of our library. They also rehabbed one of our small rooms to create a Meditation Room and are leading meditation sessions and monthly interfaith dialogues. |
| Pt III, Line 31 | LNF has recently helped facilitate the organization of a RECOVERY COMMUNITY ALLIANCE with the mission of building a recovery-friendly community. WE currently have around 50 organizations and individuals who are participating. |
| Pt V, PBC | The organization did not, during this year, receive any funds, directly or indirectly, on a personal benefit contract. |
