Briefly describe the organization’s mission: NECEC is a regional clean energy non-profit organization focused on the US northeast (New England and New York). NECEC's mission is to create a world-class clean energy hub delivering global impact with economic, energy and environmental solutions. NECEC combines two sister nonprofits under the NECEC brand - NECEC Institute (the "Institute," a 501(c)3 charitable organization engaged in policy development, regulatory planning, education, communications, stakeholder convening, innovation and market development), and the Northeast Clean Energy Council (the "Council," a 501(c)6 nonprofit business member and policy advocacy organization). NECEC is the voice, convener and mobilizer of clean energy innovators, investors, growth companies, major corporations and related stakeholders helping to make the US northeast a leading place to start, build and scale clean energy companies, and a model clean economy.
