IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL, THE PROGRAM OFFERS A VARIETY OF EDUCATION, HEALTH, SOCIAL, AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES. CONCORD'S NUTRITION PROGRAM IS MANAGED ON-SITE, AND IT ADHERES TO INDUSTRY BEST-PRACTICES AND QUALITY STANDARDS. CHILD FOOD SERVICES ENSURES THAT YOUTH PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT HUNGRY, AND THAT THEY ARE DEVELOPING HEALTHY EATING HABITS EARLY. ALL MEALS INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE FRESH FRUIT OR VEGETABLE. THE CHILD FOOD SERVICES PROGRAM PROVIDED 14,638 MEALS IN 2019. |

THE OLDER ADULT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM IS OFFERED WEEKDAY MORNINGS, AND THE ACTIVITY CALENDAR IS PARTICIPANT-DIRECTED. THE PROGRAM IS FOCUSED ON IMPROVING SOCIALIZATION TO PREVENT ISOLATION, AND TO SUPPORT SENIORS' AGING IN PLACE. PARTICIPANTS MAY BE REFERRED TO THE FAMILY SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAM FOR ASSISTANCE, AND THEY RECEIVE HELP WITH INDOOR AND OUTDOOR HOME PROJECTS AT LEAST ANNUALLY. IN 2019, 148 OLDER ADULTS PARTICIPATED IN THE OLDER ADULT ENRICHMENT PROGRAM. GENERAL SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT CONCORD. PROVIDES EXTRA-CURRICULAR EDUCATION, SOCIAL, RECREATIONAL AND HEALTH INITIATIVES TO ALL RESIDENTS IN THE CATCHMENT AREA.
