	FOOD ACCESS PROGRAMS: Our SNAP match program (utilizing tokens spent at our farmers markets) succeeded in providing important nutrition incentives to underserved populations. The amount of matching funds distributed increased by 28% over 2018, with grant funding from Tualatin Soil & Water Conservation District as well as two local business sponsors. The program provided $10 matching throughout the season. The combination of SNAP purchases and SNAP matching resulted in $15,449 in revenues for our markets farmer vendors, a 19% increase over 2018 and 48% increase over 2017. Our Veterans SNAP match program sponsored by 4 local businesses made an important difference in the lives of Hillsboros military veterans by increasing their ability to purchase healthy, local food. This program touched the lives of 322 veterans and their families, which was a 40% increase over our 2018 seasons impact.

	MARKET SPROUTS (KIDS PROGRAM): Through continued sponsorship from a local pediatric clinic, our Market Sprouts program participation rose 18% over 2018, bringing in fresh new faces and our dedicated regulars. In total, we engaged 688 children in 1,720 hands-on, interactive activities focused on strengthening connections to healthy eating and local food systems. Activities included salad making, rainbow food scavenger hunts, and seed identification, among many others. Children under three years old engaged with agriculture themed sensory bins. Our Harvest Fest celebration served to excite kids young and old to the benefits of local farms and community. Through generous sponsorships, new and free attractions and activities such as hot chocolate, balloon twisting, and henna skin art were added to interactive games, photo booths, and scavenger hunts.

	MARKET KITCHENOur Market Kitchen program was offered all 27 weeks for each Saturday and Sunday market. We partnered with community organizations, including Washington County WIC, OSU Extension Service, local cookbook authors, local chefs, and our vendors. All demonstrations focused on utilizing the abundance of produce and products at the markets, and included recipes and educational information. We expanded our Market Kitchen competitions, which encourage customers to transform produce at the markets into recipes that will be voted on by market goers. This years competitions included Bread Bake-Off, Jam On!, Salsation!, and Chili Cook-Off and over 60 community entries were received in these four competitions which help promote a deeper connection between market programming and the community.
