IN 2019, GVC CONTINUED TO FOCUS ON GROWING ITS FACEBOOK AUDIENCE. WE GAINED OVER 350 NEW LIKES THROUGHOUT THE YEAR BRINGING OUR TOTAL # LIKES TO 1,479 AS OF DECEMBER 31, 2019. OCCASIONAL UPDATES WERE POSTED ON LINKEDIN, ESPECIALLY RELATING TO JOB ANNOUNCEMENTS, OUR ANNUAL EVENT, AND FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES. MEMBERSHIP IN 2019, THE GVC CONTINUED TO USE DONOR PERFECT TO TRACK VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY AS WELL AS DONATIONS. ALL ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR GVC EVENTS WENT THROUGH DONOR PERFECT. THIS ALLOWED VOLUNTEERS THAT REGISTERED ONLINE TO RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC MESSAGE CONFIRMING THE DETAILS OF THEIR UPCOMING VOLUNTEER ACTIVITY. PRIOR TO DOWNLOADING THE REGISTRATION DATA TO DONOR PERFECT, STAFF WAS ABLE TO REMOVE VOLUNTEERS THAT DIDNT SHOW UP AS WELL AS MANUALLY ADD VOLUNTEERS THAT SIGNED UP VIA OTHER CHANNELS. DONOR PERFECT NOW HAS THE POTENTIAL TO GENERATE SPECIFIC DATA REPORTS ON AN INDIVIDUALS VOLUNTEER HOURS AND/OR FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION TO THE GVC. |
