	Addressing Program - RUP is running a comprehensive, nonpartisan addressing program on the Navajo Nation in San Juan County, Utah, where most residents do not have traditional physical addresses. This creates barriers to voting, access to timely medical care, and access to basic services, such as at-home mail delivery and utilities. In 2019, RUP identified and visited over 5,500 potential structures, and began the process of addressing the 2,600 inhabited and addressable structures using plus codes, an open-source technology created by Google employees.

	Issue Advocacy - RUP started a program to organize around local issues in six new counties in rural Utah, including in areas without large Indigenous populations. Through this program, RUP organizers held at least 3,414 non-partisan, issue-based conversations with voters to learn the most effective way to organize in underrepresented rural communities. RUP also contracted with a company to do polling around several issues that affect rural Utahns.

	Voting Rights Conference - Along with the Navajo Nation Human Rights Commission, RUP cohosted and organized a nonpartisan conference in Salt Lake City in September of 2019 titled First Nations Voting RIghts Planting for the Future. The conference focused on Indigenous voting rights, including how Indigenous Nations should interact with the redistricting process, how to interact with local governments regarding voting and voter registration, and best practices for conducting voter registration in Indigenous communities. The conference featured dozens of speakers and presenters from voting rights and legal organizations, and had over 200 attendees from across the United States and Canada, representing dozens of Indigenous Nations.
