	For the past eleven years,the ACVO with the help of its sponsors, has hosted theACVO/Epicur National Service Dog Eye Exam Event. This event involves over 300 of our Veterinary Ophthalmologist Diplomates in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico who provide free screening eye exams to qualified Service Animals. Participation of our Members is completely voluntary and they do not receive compensation for their time or expenses. In eleven years our ophthalmologists have donated over 70,000 exams! We estimate that services worth over $3,500,000 have been donated to the Service Animal Community as part of this event over the last eleven years.
