What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE - PROVIDES TRAINING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO IMPROVE EDUCATION BY SUPPORTING SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPALS THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF GEORGIA.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - GASSP DEVELOPS AND DELIVERSPROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO SECONDARY SCHOOLPRINCIPALS THAT PROMOTE HIGH PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS OFEXCELLENCE ACROSS THE STATE. THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORS AN ANNUAL FALL CONFERENCE FEATURING RECOGNIZED INDUSTRY LEADERS ON CURRENT TOPICS ANDTRENDS THAT IMPACT THE QUALITY OF SECONDARY EDUCATION IN GEORGIA. IN ADDITION, GASSP PROVIDES ONE-DAY CONFERENCES AS NEEDED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ON TOPICS INDENTIFIED BY BOTH EDUCATION LEADERS AND STATE OFFICIALS THAT PROVIDE IMPORTANT CONTENT WHILE MINIMIZING TIME AWAY FROM SECONDARY SCHOOL RESPONSIBILITIES.
