Form 990, Part VI, Line 1a GOVERNING BODY AND MANAGEMENT The executive committee of the Board is authorized to exercise powers of the Board when the Board is not in session except those powers explicitly excluded in the Boards bylaws and those powers which are not delegable under State law. There are no material differences in voting rights among members of the Board. FORM 990, PART VI, LINE 4 CHANGE IN GOVERNING DOCUMENTS The Bylaws of the University were amended on November 30, 2018. Amendments included decreasing the maximum number of regents from 60 to 31, the 31 regents consisting of elected regents, the President, and any chair or vice chair of the Board who is serving ex officio as a regent with voting privileges. All regents elected prior to November 30, 2018, are allowed to complete their term. The amended bylaws also created the Student Experience Committee and the Marketing and Institutional Advancement Committee, and removed the Physical Plant Committee, Committee on University Education, Institutional Advancement Committee, Committee on Athletics, Committee on Degrees and Ceremonials, and Strategic Planning Committee. |
