What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To improve the Northern Arizona area by bringing together talent, resources, and leadership to create action on priority issues.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Each year, the members of Northern Arizona Leadership Alliance identify a short list of critical issues and work with other organizations to achieve those goals. THE AREAS OF EFFORT INCLUDE EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP. THE ORGANIZATION HOSTS PRESENTATIONS AND SIGNIFICANT DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PRIMARILY IN THE FLAGSTAFF AREA INCLUDING PRESENTATIONS FROM ELECTED LOCAL OFFICIALS AND STATE OFFICIALS. THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES ITS SIGNIFICANT SUPPORT OF THE LOCAL STEM INITIATIVE AND IS A SIGNIFICANT PARTICIPANT IN FLAGSTAFF BEING DESIGNATED THE VERY FIRST STEM CITY IN THE UNITED STATES.
