What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED, AND SHALL BE OPERATED, FOR PURPOSES FURTHERING SOCIAL WELFARE. THE CORPORATION SHALL ACCOMPLISH SUCH PURPOSES BY SUPPORTING THE ADOPTION, ENACTMENT AND RETENTION OF U.S. POLICIES, PROCEDURES AND LAWS THAT ARE DESIGNED (A) TO AVOID THE DOUBLE TAXATION OF INCOME BY FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES, (B) TO ENCOURAGE HOME OWNERSHIP AND (C) TO RETAIN THE ABILITY OF STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENTS TO PROVIDE VITAL SERVICES SUCH AS EDUCATION, PUBLIC SAFETY AND DISASTER PREPAREDNESS.
