Explanation

Part X, Line 2:

SIA and SCE qualify as exempt (under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(6))from income taxes on earnings from related activities. Accordingly, income taxes are only provided on revenues from nonexempt activities and are included in administrative expenses. Management believes that each entity has appropriate support for any tax positions taken affecting its annual filing requirements and, as such, does not have any uncertain tax positions that are material to the consolidated financial statements. Management would recognize future accrued interest and penalties related to unrecognized tax benefits and liabilities in income tax expense if such interest and penalties are incurred.

Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 1	The Executive Committee shall consist of the Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, and Secretary. The General Counsel of SIA shall be an advisory nonvoting member of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee shall act as, and exercise all powers of, the Board from time to time between meetings of the Board, to the extent permitted by Part III of Title 15 of the Pennsylvania Statutes, as amended from time to time.
Form 990, Part VI, Section A, line 3	Mike Rossberg, the organization's Interim CFO, is compensated by Advanced CFO, an unrelated management company. During fiscal year 2019, Advanced CFO received $16,290 in compensation for CFO services.
