What is the organization's primary exempt purpose? To promote communications between the information services functions of Cities, Counties and other municipal agencies. To represent Cities, Counties and other municipal agencies information systems interests to State officials and to call attention to legislation affecting data processing operations. To provide education for City, County and other municipal agency officers on roles, responsibilities, and requirements of information systems departments.
Describe the organization’s program service accomplishments for each of its three largest program services, as measured by expenses. In a clear and concise manner, describe the services provided, the number of persons benefited, and other relevant information for each program title.
28 Education and promotion of information services functions, including information security, for Counties, Cities, and related municipal agencies. The Spring 2020 conference was canceled due to COVID-19. The Fall 2020 conference was attended virtually by association members.
