| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 6 | The Post has approximately 400 dues paying members. All of whom have the right to attend meeting and vote on any motion brought up for decisions. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7a | All officers of the Post are voted upon annually, no one can fill a position unless approved by the membership. A person can be appointed to a position by the Commander but he or she must be approved by the membership at the first membership meeting following that appointment. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 7b | All policy, program and budgetary decisions must be approved by the membership per the Post Constitution and By-Laws. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section A, Line 8b | All committee must obtain the approval of the Executive Committee and the membership before activities can be undertaken and funds expended. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section B, Line 11b | All Officers are provided an electronic copy to review and comment on. Any issues are discussed at the Executive Committee Meeting. Once all comments are resolved the Post Commander signs the form. |
| Form 990, Part VI, Section C, Line 19 | All documents are available on request. The Post Constitution, By-Laws and Policies and Guidelines are available on the Post website. The form 990 is posted on several public websites. Copies will be made available if requested. Financial documents are discussed at our monthly meetings and are available upon request. The Post does not have a conflict of interest statement. However, whenever an apparent conflict of interest is found during the Executive Committee discussion of new business, that individual(s) is excluded from voting on that motion. |
